Clairvale Cenedra
Clairvale Cenedra (Abbeyleix Finbar imp x Shelford Downs Castanette) was Castanette's first foal, and also the first foal bred by Clairvale Connemara Ponies. Foaled in 1999, Cenedra was leased out to breeding and performance homes. She did not produce a foal, but was used for pony club and competed in the interschool showjumping at Barastoc in 2010 with excellent results. Cenedra has now been sold with a lovely family in Victoria who have a number of children to ride her.

Clairvale Cuiliuir
Clairvale Cuiliuir (Springfield Devereux x Shelford Downs Castanette) was our original mare Castanette's third and last foal. Cuiliuir was to be retained as a performance pony and broodmare for Clairvale, but she sadly developed founder in early 2008, and despite extensive veterinary and farriery treatment was unable to be saved. A devestating loss for the stud.

Clairvale Rhain
Clairvale Rhain (Mungala Emerald Isle x Shelford Downs Rana) was Rana's last foal and is a half-brother to Glenrose Roisin. He was started under saddle in 2012 by Cavalier Performance Horses in Canberra. When we were moving to the UK, Rhain joined the school ponies of Yggdrasil Equestrian Training in Victoria before being sold to a lovely family as their daughter's pony club pony.

Clairvale Padraic
Born on St Patrick's day, Paddy (Garnet Quicksilver x Clairvale Eibhlin) won everyone over with his people-oriented personality. He has good conformation and a lovely head and was born liver chestnut, but has greyed out. Run on as a stallion prospect, Paddy was sold to Yggdrasil Equestrian Training on our move to the UK, where he covered 2 mares and produced one filly, Yggdrasil Babette. He has now been gelded and sold on to a pleasure riding home.

'Ziggy' (Pattys Veuve Cosmic (FS) x Glenrose Roisin) is a strong, flashy buckskin roan stallion, very four square with excellent conformation and a neat pony head. He was sold after weaning to Sarah Kenney and Che Hetherington of Marglyn Connemara & Sporthorse Stud in Western Australia as a future stud/performance stallion. Marglyn stud has since relocated to Victoria, although we are currently leasing Ziggy as a riding horse here in Canberra.
